Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 2026

Carwoods is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

Conformance Status

Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. The site and portal are actively developed, so some areas may not yet fully conform; accessibility checks are part of our development workflow, and we treat reported barriers as defects to fix, not feature requests.

Scope of This Statement

This statement covers the Carwoods public website and the tenant portal, both on the web and inside the Carwoods mobile apps, which use the same interface. Third-party websites and services we link to or rely on are covered in the Known Limitations section below.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML and clear heading structure
  • Keyboard navigable content with visible focus indicators
  • Alternative text for images
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG guidelines
  • A skip link to main content for keyboard users
  • Light and dark themes designed to maintain readable color contrast
  • Reduced-motion preferences respected for animations
  • Content available in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic, including right-to-left layout
  • Form fields with visible labels and descriptive error messages

Compatibility

The site is built to work with current versions of major browsers, with screen readers, and with keyboard-only navigation, on desktop and mobile screen sizes. It does not require a mouse, a specific screen resolution, or plug-ins.

Known Limitations

Some actions rely on third-party services — such as HAR.com for listings and applications, and Stripe for payment checkout — whose accessibility we do not control. If you encounter a barrier in one of these services while using Carwoods, contact us and we will help you complete the task another way and pass the feedback on. Occasional user-uploaded images and documents may lack text alternatives.

How We Assess Accessibility

We assess accessibility through self-evaluation: automated checks and regression tests run as part of development, plus manual keyboard navigation, screen reader spot checks, and verification of color contrast in both light and dark themes.

Feedback

If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our site, please contact us through our Contact Us page. We will work to address the issue promptly.
